van der Schaar Lab

Lab graduation party marks milestone in our students’ career

The atmosphere was lovely last evening as our lab members gathered to celebrate the graduation and farewell of some of our research team at a lively party in Cambridge. We honoured the hard work, dedication, and scientific achievements of our students, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys.

Highlights of the celebration included a series of anecdotes from the past years of working together, as well as a fantastic cake as tribute to everyone’s graduation or leaving our lab.

Although, not all of our graduates were able to make the occasion, the event was a poignant reminder of the impact of teamwork, and it was a celebration of the past and a hopeful look towards the future, embodying the spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines the van der Schaar lab.

The van der Schaar lab whole-heartedly congratulates our graduating PhD students Jeroen Berrevoets, Boris van Breugel, Alicia Curth, Alihan Hüyük, Alex Chan, and Yuchao Qin. We further thank our postdoc Fergus Imrie for being part of the lab for many years.
