Mihaela van der Schaar receives 2024 Johann Anton Merck Award

Merck has today announced Prof Mihaela van der Schaar as the winner of the 2024 Johann Anton Merck Award for outstanding scientific preclinical research accomplishments in the areas of Merck Biopharma‘s strategic focus.

Merck, a leading science and pharmaceutical company, is giving out the prestigious annual achievement award since 2020. Th award is endowed with a €30,000 prize. Mihaela van der Schaar is awarded for her pioneering contributions to the future of healthcare.

The Johann Anton Merck Award celebrates outstanding scientific research and recognises the brilliance and dedication of leading scientists in the field.
